Signature campaign demanding 6th Schedule for Ladakh

After the hunger strike, the student of Ladakh has started a signature campaign themed 'Let's pledge to support constitutional safeguard for UT Ladakh' on December 3 demanding 6th Schedule for Ladakh as a constitutional safeguard. 

Jigmat Paljor, LEAF Chief Coordinator said, "We the student fraternity extends our heartfelt thanks to all the people who have participated and supported this genuine movement of students. We got more than 1000 signature in a day and already exceeded our expectations." 

He further appealed the public to come out and support them with the signatures.

The campaign was joined by Sonam Wangchuk, President & Founder SECMOL/Founding Director HIAL;  Rigzin Spalbar, Former Chief Executive Councillor, Hill Council, Leh; representatives from Anjuman Moi-ul-Islam and Anjuman Imamiya and representatives from various NGOs.
