DC, Kargil reviews issues of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kargil

Santosh Sukhadeve, DC, Kargil also the Chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kargil reviewed the performance of the school and other activities during the financial year 2020-2021. 

Member Secretary VMC and Principal KV Kargil, K. S Pathania; Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kargil, Dr. Munawar Hussain Wazir, and other members of the VMC besides parents attended the meeting. 

Various issues on the conduct of classes during the year 2021-2022, preparation of panel of contractual teachers, ongoing online and offline examinations, medical facilities for students, shifting of Government Middle School Lungma from the premises of KV to an alternate location besides other issues came up for discussion during the meeting.

Regarding the need of shifting Government Middle School Lungma from the premises of KV, DC, Santosh Sukhadeve assured that necessary measures will be taken to resolve the matter in a due course of time. He also accorded approval for the conduct of interviews for the preparation of the panel of contractual teachers for the session 2021-2022. He further assured to take up the matter of bus services for students of Kargil and Sankoo studying in KV with the ARTO, Kargil.

Later, he visited the newly established astronomy laboratory in the KV premises. He also interacted with the students of Class 10th and 12th and advised them to be committed and dedicated in their studies besides proactively participating in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, so that they can bring laurels to their family and the district.
