Sheena King’s Eleven Budgam team lift Captain Saurabh Kalia Memorial Cup in Kargil

KARGIL :
 Beating Star Galaxy Kaksar by four wickets, Sheena Kings’ Eleven Budgam clinched the winner cup of the Late Capt. Saurabh Kalia Memorial Cricket Tournament on May 26 at Shah Thatha Khan Cricket Stadium, Kaksar.

The tournament was organised by Indian Army in association with a local youth club of kaksar. A total of 32 teams of Shingo zone participated.

In the final, Chief Guest Major General CP Karappa, GOC 8 Mountain Division appreciated the role of the people and the efforts made by local youths to run this entire tournament. 
Guest of honour Commander 121 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier T K Chopra, Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Aga Syed Hassan Arman was also present.

Since 2003, the tournament has been organised in memory of Captain Saurabh Kalia an officer of the Indian Army who was martyred during the Kargil War.
