Athletes Tashi Dolma and Diskit Dolma won first and third rank respectively in the 7th edition of the Ageas Federal Life Insurance New Delhi Marathon organized by NEB Sports at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on March 27.

Tashi Dolma claimed the first position in the 21km Elite Half Marathon with a timing of 1:27.49 and Diskit Dolma secured 3rd position in the 42km Elite Full Marathon with a timing of 3:22.06.

CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson congratulated both the athletes for their splendid performance and for bringing laurels to the UT of Ladakh.

CEC also appreciated athletes Stanzin Wangchuk and Nawang Tsering. Nawang Tsering clocked 2:39.39 seconds which is so far the best timing by any Ladakhi Marathon-Runner (Men) breaking his own record which was 2: 42. 49 of last year.
