3 Ladakh Scout organized Operation Sadbhavana open archery competition

 A daylong Operation Sadbhavana open archery competition was organized by 3 Ladakh Scout on March 23 at Sonam Wangchuk MVC stadium Leh. 

A total of 26 teams, including two specially-abled teams among which 1 women team from PAGIR also participated.

Lt. Gen. Paramjit Singh Pannu, AVSM VSM, GOC 14 crops, chief guest said that Indian Army is always in support of civilian in every work of life.

“Sports like archery will surely create a bright future for the coming generations”, he added.

Nawang Rinchen, President District Archery Association said, “It’s been several years that we have been promoting our traditional game. This time team from PAGIR also participated in the competition. This is for the second time we are having the open competition and we are very thankful to 3 Ladakh Scout.”

Sabu Phu red secured the first position with 475 points. Whereas, United Ladakh and District archery association Red bagged second and third position.
