Tehsildar Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, along with government department officers and officials, inspected areas recently affected by earthquakes in the Zanskar subdivision on December 20.

During the assessment at Karsha Monastery, it was observed that the protector room of the monastery had developed cracks following the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.

In response, disaster management authorities issued necessary advisories urging caution and recommending restricted access to the affected part of the monastery.
