A mega veterans rally and pension adalat was organised by Leh Sub Area on behalf of Fire and Fury Corps on August 22.  Around 1600 veterans, war heroes and veer naris from Ladakh attended.

The rally was inaugurated by Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), Lt Governor, UT of Ladakh.

The rally aimed at assisting the Veterans, Veer Naris and Army Widows for which a large number of personnel from various offices dealing with Veterans issues were present to resolve the issues.

As a gesture of respect and gratitude, the Gallantry Award Winners (War Heroes) were felicitated by Lt Governor as part of the event. The ‘Awareness & Information Stalls’ provided an opportunity for Veterans and Veer Naris to get acquainted with various welfare schemes of the Indian Army, Central Government and Administration of UT Ladakh.

The rally was a huge success witnessing an unprecedented turnout. The Veteran community of Ladakh appreciated the efforts of Fire and Fury Corps and Leh Sub Area in organising the event.
