UT Ladakh Nodal officers render assistance to stranded patients and students

Nodal officers appointed by the UT Administration of Ladakh till May 1 resolved 1,291 problems out of the total 1302 grievances of stranded students and patients outside Ladakh.

Nodal officer at Jammu, Mohd Yousuf arranged accommodation for 5 Ladakhi girls at Kargil House, Jammu. The girls were sent by Punjab government from Punjab to Jammu. Nodal officers at Delhi, Chandigarh, and Srinagar assisted patients and their attendants who were airlifted to Leh on a special flight on May 1.
 
UT Administration, in its endeavour to redress the grievances and assist the students, patients, and other Ladakhi residents in different parts of the country during the lockdown period of COVID-19, has appointed various officials as nodal officers. These nodal officers receive grievances through the online portal of connect.ladakh.gov.in and through phone calls displayed online at the portal.
