Two-day training programme on Employees Information System held in Kargil

Training programme on Employees Information System (EIS) component of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) in Kargil.
Kargil :

A two-day training programme on the Employees Information System (EIS) component of the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) was convened on September 10 in Kargil.

The training programme was organized by the Office of the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, Principal Accounts Office (Accounts), Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI in collaboration with the Finance Department UT Ladakh.

Officers and officials of the Finance Department including the Deputy Director Finance, Iftikhar Hussain; Accounts Officer to DC Kargil Ajaz Hussain, and Accounts Officer KDA Satyendra Kumar attended the training.

The training programmes were held amidst strict adherence to COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines.

Assistant Accounts Officers (AAOs) from the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, Principal Accounts Office (Accounts), Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI, Barnabas Tiru, and Mukesh Kumar was the resource person. He spoke about various aspects of the Employees Information System (EIS) integrated with the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). 

The resource persons through detailed PPT displayed procedure on the PFMS portal to the participants on uploading of employees’ information on EIS, online processing of employees related emoluments like salary and other allowances, issues related to pension, GPF, and all other kinds of deductions made on EIS and other related aspects.  

EC Rural Development and DC Kargil stressed the officers and officials to pursue the training sessions with utmost seriousness and keenness so they are in a position to acquire the required knowledge to operate the EIS system in a smooth and hassle-free manner.

During the training programme, Information System (EIS) integrated with the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) for the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Dealing Assistants/Programme Divisions (PDs) of all departments of Kargil district in a phased manner will be imparted.
