The initiative aims to empower youth and women through innovation, skill development, and enterprise creation. It is being implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, with the goal of nurturing a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem suited to Ladakh’s unique socio-economic context.

Throughout the three-day program, participants are being introduced to the essentials of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, business planning, and financial literacy.

The sessions are facilitated by seasoned mentors, successful local entrepreneurs, and domain experts, offering both practical knowledge and motivational insights.

On Day 1, interactive sessions and hands-on training were conducted by EDII resource persons Abhishake Nandan and Fariha Fatima, alongside local entrepreneur and founder of Ladakh Basket, Stanzin Jordan.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 80 students, highlighting a growing interest among Ladakhi youth in entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering career path.
