Students Association Chumathang organises 15 days intensive winter camp

During the concluding day of the 15 days long winter camp.
Chumathang :

A 15 days long winter camp organised by Students Association Chumathang concluded on January 26.

A total of 75 children participated in this intensive winter camp which includes culture workshop, personality development, English and Bhoti language and Ice skate training. 

Chief Guest of the occasion, Thinles Norboo, Councillor, Kungyam constituency congratulated and expressed gratitude to all the organizers and trainers for coming up with such a productive camp.  He said that such camps are a need of an hour to build a better learning environment among students.

President,  Students Association Chumathang, Sonam Angchuk emphasised that the youth and children have potential but require proper guidance and direction to steer them in the right direction. 

Trainer Namgail informed that during the winter camp parents of the participants also participated in the cultural workshop every evening. 

“Every Ladakhi should know how to sing and dance our traditional song and dances”, he added. 

67 battalion CO was also present during the occasion.
