Skill Initiation Programme on “Mushroom Cultivation and Self Reliance” held at Kukshow

A day-long Skill Initiation Programme in the areas of “Mushroom Cultivation and Self Reliance” was organised by the Regional Research Station of ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute and Krishi Vigyan Kendra of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology in Kukshow.

Deliberations, interactions, hands-on-demonstrations was carried out with more than fifty farmers of the remote mountain village.

Dr. Dipankar Saha, Scientist In-charge of RRS-CAZRI of ICAR, Leh, and Dr. Vikas Gupta, Senior Scientist of KVK-SKUAST, Leh interacted with the participants with their presentations cum demonstrations. Technical and project personnel, Mohd Raza; Rigzin Dorje, and Rigzin Dolkar of both the organizations interacted in the local language to make the knowledge transmission crystal clear and also extended their full support during the demonstration.
