Self defence camp organised for students of Tia village under Op Sadbhavana
Fire & Fury Corps organised a Self Defence Camp for young students of Tia village on 15 June 2026 as part of its ongoing outreach initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana. The initiative aimed to enhance self-confidence, promote personal safety awareness and impart basic self-defence skills among participants.
The camp was conducted by trained Army personnel who demonstrated practical techniques related to self-protection, situational awareness and emergency response. Participants were educated on identifying potential threats, responding effectively during challenging situations and seeking timely assistance whenever required.
The initiative focused on empowering women and fostering a sense of security, confidence and self-reliance within the local community. In addition to physical training sessions, interactive discussions were conducted on aspects related to personal safety, health and overall well-being.
Through such community-oriented initiatives, the Indian Army continues to strengthen its connect with the local population and contribute towards social development in remote areas. The camp reflects the Army’s commitment to nurturing confident, resilient and empowered citizens while encouraging community participation and nation-building.
