Seeking proposals, Dr Nirmal Singh assures redressal of power department's issues

Dr. Nirmal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, J&K and Minister for Power Development and Housing & Urban Development visited Leh on August 21 for two days.
 
During the Deputy CM visit to the 220*66 KV plant at GIS station, Phyang, he instructed concerned officers and engineers for its proper completion to ensure uninterrupted power supply on the completion of the entire grid station.

He also visited PDD Distribution Station, Leh and interacted with the employees.
 
EC Dorjey Motup raised issues of lack of staff in the power departments, LTE lines, and replacement of rotten wooden electric poles, regularisation of daily wagers and other issues through a memorandum to the Dy. CM. 

Dr. Singh asked the concerned officers to prepare a proposal in collaboration with the council about requirements of the departments to redress the issues on priority basis.

Giving a detailed visit to the eco-friendly Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant at Leh, Dr. Nirmal Singh appreciated the work and advised for proper execution of the plant.
 
Dorjey Motup, EC Power & Education, Tsering Wangdus, EC Agriculture Kuldeep Raina, Chief Engineer Generation & M&RE Wing, Ladakh, Tsewang Paljor, Executive Engineer,  Project Division, Tundup Spalzang Executive Engineer, M&RE and other concerned officers and officials accompanied the minister.
