Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nubra, Jigmet Raftan (JKAS), convened an introductory-cum-interaction meeting with Nambardars of the Sub-Division on March 18.

The meeting was held with the objective of establishing direct communication with grassroots representatives and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the developmental status and key issues faced by villages across Nubra.

The Nambardars welcomed the newly posted SDM and, during the interaction, highlighted various village-level concerns, ongoing developmental activities, and priority areas requiring administrative intervention.

Addressing the gathering, the SDM emphasised the crucial role of Nambardars as a vital link between the administration and the public.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen coordination between the administration and local representatives to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and the overall development of the Sub-Division.
