Romil Singh Donk takes charge as Deputy Commissioner, Leh

In a formal handover ceremony held at the DC Office, Romil Singh Donk (IAS) officially assumed charge as the new Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Leh, succeeding Santosh Sukhadeve.
The outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Santosh Sukhadeve, handed over responsibilities to the newly appointed DC in the presence of senior officers, including the Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, and other key officials of the district administration.
Santosh Sukhadeve, who served as Deputy Commissioner Leh for the past two years, will now proceed to the Government of Goa to take up new responsibilities.
The new Deputy Commissioner, Romil Singh Donk, is no stranger to Ladakh. He has previously served as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Zanskar in the Kargil district, bringing with him valuable administrative experience and familiarity with the region.
