Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar visited Higher Secondary School Sakti, and High Schools Housing Colony & Choglamsar on January 25 and reviewed the progress of the residential and non-residential remedial winter classes that have been initiated for 10th and 12th-grade students. 

An important development in Ladakh's education landscape is the transition of the School's Education Department's affiliation from the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This academic year marks the first time students will be appearing for the CBSE examination, and the department is diligently working to facilitate a smooth transition for them. As part of the Samagara Shiksha Scheme by the Ministry of Education, these remedial winter classes aim to support the academic preparedness of students in the 10th and 12th grades.

School  Education Department in Ladakh has shifted its affiliation from the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This year, students will be taking the CBSE examination for the first time, and the department is working hard to help them adjust to the change. Under the Samagara Shiksha Scheme of the Ministry of Education, residential and non-residential remedial winter classes have been initiated for 10th and 12th-grade students. 

Principal Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar interacted with the students, inquired about their preparations, and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements.

Similar classes are being conducted in different blocks of Ladakh.
