A total of 4463 Ladakh Resident Certificate (LRC) was issued by Tehsildars across the Kargil district in one week.

As per the official figures, last week Tehsildar Kargil issued 831 LRCs, Tehsildar Drass 722, Tehsildar Shargole 426, Tehsildar Shakar Chiktan 617, Tehsildar Sankoo 799, Tehsildar Taisuru 592 while Tehsildar Zanskar issued 476 LRCs.

DC Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve hailed the satisfactory services rendered by all Tehsildars, ministerial staff, revenue officials, and other staff for issuance of continuous LRCs to the general population despite their multifarious office and field assignments. He further emphasized that pendency’s should not remain more than 2 days.
