Following the order issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nubra for monitoring and checking of essential commodities, a market inspection was conducted on May 7 in Tehsil Diskit by the constituted committee comprising officials from the Revenue, Police, Food Safety and Supply Departments.

During the inspection, various shops and business establishments were checked for overcharging, sale of expired or sub standard items, and proper display of rate lists. The shopkeepers were directed to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines and maintain transparency in pricing.
