National Institute of Sowa Rigpa (NSIR), Leh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi, on March 28 to establish a Yoga Centre at NSIR Leh.

Director, NSIR Leh, Dr Padma Gurmet and Director, MDNIY New Delhi, Dr Ishwar V Basavaraddi signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.

The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga would provide financial assistance to engage a yoga staff for the smooth functioning of the Yoga Therapy and Training Centre at the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh. The centre will provide training, research and yoga therapy.
