Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs: Administration at your doorstep held at Phey village
As part of the ongoing “Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative, a public outreach camp was organised at the Community Hall, Phey village on November 17, witnessing active participation from village residents and officials from various government departments.
The camp began with Village Nambardar, Tsering Mutup, welcoming the Nodal Officer and departmental representatives with traditional khataks. He expressed gratitude for their presence and highlighted key challenges faced by the village, including water scarcity, road improvement, need for a community hall and market space, issues related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, staffing and transport requirements for the primary school, completion of the village football ground, poor network connectivity, MGNREGA-related delays, and other essential livelihood concerns.
Nodal Officer, Dorjey Gyatso (SE, PWD-R&B), interacted with the villagers and briefed them on the objectives of the Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs initiative, stressing that the program aims to bring governance and essential public services to the doorstep of citizens. He directed department officers to present the status of their ongoing projects, justify any delays, and ensure timely completion of pending works. He further instructed departments related to healthcare, water supply, social welfare, civil supplies, and cooperative services to expedite their tasks and respond swiftly to grievances raised by the public.
During the camp, several on-the-spot services were provided. These included ration card corrections with five new family entries and three modifications, Golden Card services, NCD registrations, and other digital service facilitation. The medical team generated 15 ABHA health IDs and conducted basic health screenings, including blood pressure, weight, and height checks. A yoga demonstration was also organised by the Health Department, with active participation from village women.
Officials from various departments briefed the public about ongoing welfare schemes, subsidy benefits, and application procedures. Villagers raised their concerns and queries, which were addressed on the spot by the concerned departments.
The outreach camp concluded with an assurance that all grievances and issues raised by the villagers will be followed up and resolved in a time-bound manner under the “Administration at Your Doorstep” campaign.
