Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon conducted a meeting with the regard to detachment of teaching and non-teaching employees of the Education Department Kargil on October 26.

CEC stressed upon the Director School Education UT Ladakh to resolve the issue of attached teaching/non-teaching staff of the Council Model Schools/Pilot schools and other departments of Kargil district by constituting a committee for the said purpose. He directed not to permit approval for shifting of post from one school to another school.

Director School Education highlighted through power point presentation of school-wise academic performance of the academic year 2023-24.  CEC appreciated the Director of School Education and his team for the initiatives taken in this regard.

The winter coaching class for the regular students of classes 10th and 12th came under discussion. During the winter, the Government Schools must remain open for classes 10th and 12th under the direction of the Director of School Education UT Ladakh.

The Director of School Education also highlighted the proposal for day school and hostel facilities by engaging the subject-specific teacher/lecturers from the concerned High/Higher Secondary Schools, unanimously agreed upon the improvement and achievement of good results in the CBSE Examination 2023-24, to be held in March 2024.
