A sanitisation drive of various places of Municipal Committee, Leh was carried out by District Administration through Municipal Committee, Leh on March 30.

The drive was carried out by officials and workers of MC Leh under the supervision of ward members.

Areas including Raj Niwas, Chief Medical Office, Police Station, all bank ATMs at Leh Main market to Skalzangling, general stores, government offices, banks were sanitised by spraying Sodium Hypochlorite.

The officials said that the people can contact their respective Municipal ward members for sanitisation of any locality or office building falling in the municipality wards.    

Buses, bus stand, ration depot and shops are also scheduled for sanitisation.
