Mahabodhi organises Yoga instructor course in Ladakh

Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre in collaboration with the University of Ladakh and Vivekananda Yoga Anusandana Samsthana (VYASA) Bangalore has organised a month-long Yoga instructor course at Mahabodhi.

 Yoga instructor Hitesh from Banglore is the trainer for the event. The course will begin from 1st September till 1st October.

During the inaugural day DIHAR director, Vice Chancellor University of Ladakh, ADGP Ladakh Police, and founder of Mahabodhi Bikkhu Sanghasena, and many other dignitaries were present.

Senior journalist/ columnist P.P Wangchuk was awarded the Mahakaruna Award 2022.
ADGP, Ladakh Police, S.S Khandare talked about introducing Yoga in the police force and also said that Ladakh Police is always ready to provide assistance and support for any events beneficial for the people of Ladakh.

VC University of Ladakh talked about the importance of Yoga and its benefits. In his speech, he also said that in the coming years Ladakh can become the Yoga Capital of India taking away the title from Rishikesh.

Founder of Mahabodhi Bikkhu Sangasena spoke about his dream to make Ladakh the Yoga capital of India and also about the achievements of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre. He thanked the guests for their presence and also for the support and assistance they provided to the Mahabodhi Society.
