LAHDC, Leh hails frontline warrior for making UT Ladakh COVID-19 free

Hill Council Leh lauded the courage, dedication, and selfless service provided by all the frontline warriors for making Union Territory of Ladakh COVID-19 free.

Gyal P Wangyal, CEC, Hill Council, Leh said that the 'Corona Warriors' of UT Ladakh under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor, Radha Krishna Mathur achieved tremendous success in containing the spread of pandemic. Thus, achieving 100 % recovery of positive cases with zero mortality in Ladakh. 

He specially mentioned Commissioner Secretary, Rigzin Samphel who is playing the ‘anchor role’ in winning the war against COVID-19 in Ladakh. Also, he appreciated the professionalism, efficiency, and dedication of the health department headed by Director Health Ladakh, CMO, Leh, and MS SNM Hospital Leh for detecting and curing COVID -19 patients in Leh.

Gyal P Wangyal appreciated all the frontline warriors including doctors, paramedic, police, sanitary staff and volunteers, who worked day and night under the guidance of MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Advisor to the LG Ladakh, Umang Narula; Divisional Commissioner Ladakh, Saugat Biswas; IGP Ladakh, Satish Khandare; DC Leh, Sachin Kumar and SSP Leh, Sargun Shukla.  

He further thanked all the religious organizations, NGOs, villages, Councillors, Panchayat and MC Ward members and citizens of Ladakh for their cooperation.

He urged people of Ladakh not to get complacent with the results until the battle against the pandemic is won completely.
