Ladakh Science Foundation organises 3rd Ladakh Student Conclave

Ladakh Science Foundation organised the 3rd Ladakh student conclave at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra, Leh on October 20. 

The conclave aims to promote science and technology, education, research, and development in various fields concerning Ladakh. Scientific advocacy, science policy, and strategy planning, innovation, career guidance, etc are also promoted by LSF.

Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur virtually graced the conclave and spoke about the capable youth of Ladakh while encouraging them to explore the vast potential in entrepreneurship avenues.

He appreciated the role of LSF in mentorship for the youth and stated that the assistance provided for availing various central government scholarships, specifically the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) which has brought benefits to the needy students of the region.    

The program held guidance sessions on PMSSS, IIT-JEE, NEET coaching, careers in civil services, Aerospace & Defence sectors, overseas opportunities, start-up opportunities and entrepreneurship avenues, etc with mentors from the fields.
