Ladakh achieves 100% vaccination target with first dose

The Union Territory of Ladakh has administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to its entire eligible population, officials said on July 7. 

The UT Administration has given the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine to the beneficiaries and has covered 100% of Health care workers (HCW), Front line workers (FLW) and 45 plus years and 18-44 years age group.

The Health and Medical Department, UT Ladakh appeals to all its residents and non-residents, including govt. employees, private employees/workers above 18 years working in different sectors and labour contractors and presently residing/working in UT Ladakh, who are yet to receive the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, to contact their nearest vaccination centre/health care centre/ healthcare workers such as ASHA /ANM to seek assistance in getting the Covid jab at the earliest.
