A four-day awareness camp on labour laws, Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board (BOCWWB) was held in different villages of Changthang sub-division from February 10 to 13. 

The awareness camp was organised by the Labour Department, Leh at Tangtse, Chushul, Tsaga, Hanle, Tegazong, Korzok, and Chumathang under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Tak.

Around 300 registration cards of labourers were renewed, while around 200 financial assistance forms were collected during the camps. Village representatives, including sarpanches, gobas, and villagers, took part in the awareness camp.
