kargil :
The religious organizations of Kargil Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) and Islamia School Kargil (ISK) while opposing National Food Security Act asked people not to submit the required forms.
In their statements, ISK and IKMT said, “If the Act has been rejecting by the people of the entire State then people of Kargil will also not fill.”
Chairman IKMT Shiekh Mohammad Lutfi speaking to media said, “I appeal to the people not to jump on conclusion yet.”
He added, “We are against this Act, therefore, we have also asked people not to submit their forms.”
Murtaza Khalili, Chief of ISK said he has also appealed to the people not to cooperate with authority regarding the Food Security Act.
Both the institutions asked leaders of Kargil to oppose the Act in the Assembly as it is not favorable to the people of the State in general and to the people of Kargil in particular.
