Kargil MLA's outcry in state Assembly against discrimination of Ladakh

Member Legislative Assembly Kargil Haji AsgarKarbalaion January 12thvoiced at the J&K Assembly criticised the discriminatory approach of the state government towards Ladakh region.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the government has discriminated Ladakh region in general and Kargil in Particular by sanction state share funds, duty allowance for Ladakhi employees, Sanctioning medical college for Kargil. Sanctioning funds for health education, irrigation, flood control.

Speaking about the negligence’s of cultural heritage Karbalai said that the cultural heritage in Kargil including Bhim stone at Drass, DrupathyKund, Tololing, Tiger Hill, Suru Valley and Zanaskar were also discriminated and there is a need to keep up these  sites to attract tourism in Kargil.

He also demanded funds for KREDA ,LREDA on pattern for JEKEDA in budget . He also demanded funds for procession plant for apricot packaging and Marketing also.
