Leh :

District Administration Leh started delivering Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) material through air sorties to remote areas of the district, such as Dibling on October 29 to achieve timely completion of the JJM project.

Dibling comes under Singay Lalok block and is still unconnected through road connectivity. Despite connectivity challenges, equipment and material like High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for Jal Jeevan Mission were delivered in Dibling village through air sorties.

The deadline for completion of the Jal Jeevan Mission in UT Ladakh is 15th August 2022. Leh recently achieved 20% coverage in providing Functional Household Tap Connections. 10 villages in Leh district have become 100% saturated i.e Har Ghar Jal Village. The District Administration is making all efforts to achieve the deadline.

The District Superintendent Engineer, PHE Leh; Assistant Executive Engineer, Executive Engineers, and Junior Engineers were present to ensure that the operation was conducted smoothly and successfully.
