A day-long interactive meeting with the prospective agripreneurs on “Mushroom cultivation and spawn production” was held on September 1 at Stakna.

The meeting was organised by RRS-Leh of ICAR-CAZRI at its Stakna campus under two weeks of skill development programme of the Department of Science and Technology (DST)-SEED on “Mushroom cultivation and spawn production” by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), SKUAST, Leh.

Trainees along with other faculties and staff members of RRS-Leh of ICAR-CAZRI and KVK, Leh of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) were present. 

Deliberating insights from the faculties of both the organizations and reflections from the trainees about their perspective on the very basic and applied aspects of the training including possible prospects was carried out.

RRS-Leh of ICAR-CAZRI Head, Dr. Anurag Saxena; Senior Scientist, Dr. Dipankar Saha; Truptimayee Suna, Scientist and technical officers Stanzin Landol, Yogendra Singh, Rigzin Dorje, Md. Raza were present. While from SKUAST, Dr. D. Namgyal, Head KVK, Leh; Dr. M.S. Kanwar, Sr. Scientist; Dr. Vikas Gupta, Scientist Sr. Scale; Dr. Deldan Namgyal, Sr. Scientist; Dr. Sabiya Asmat, Sr. Scientist were present.
