Members of 6th LAHDC, Leh headed by Tashi Gyalson, CEC met Dr. Jitender Singh, MoS PMO on November 12.

Member Parliament Ladakh and State BJP President, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal introduced the newly elected Chairman, Dy. Chairman, ECs, and Councillors to the Minister.

The delegation highlighted various issues and demands including the creation of the UPSC Examination center in Ladakh, capping airfare for locals especially during winter months, the inclusion of Bhoti language in the school syllabus in line with northeastern states. The discussion was also held regarding the Public State Commission for UT Ladakh.
