Health camp organised at Karsha Gompa during sacred holy Relics
On the occasion of the Sacred Holy Relics at Karsha Gompa, the Community Health Centre (CHC) Zanskar under the Health Department organised a health camp on May 12 to provide medical support to devotees and visitors attending the religious event.
From Monday till 1 pm on Tuesday, around 150 patients were examined during the camp. Most of the patients were treated for gastric issues, headaches and common fever-related ailments. Necessary medical check-ups, basic treatment and health advice were provided on the spot.
Sharing details about the initiative, Dr Dechana Lamo stated that the health camp was organised to ensure timely medical care and maintain the well-being of devotees during the Sacred Holy Relics event.
The initiative by the Health Department was appreciated by devotees and local residents for ensuring health and safety arrangements during the religious gathering at Karsha Gompa.
