Haji Anayat assures overall development of Shakar Chiktan sub-division

Chairman J&K Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali after his tour to Sharkar Chiktan Sub Division called a meeting of the Electric Maintenance department in which officers of the Department and Deputy Commissioner Kargil Kacho Hassan Khan participated on 3rd October.

During the meeting, Haji Anayat Ali directed for the maintenance of Electric Lines, repairing of Poles and transformers in villages Mundik, Samrah, Khangral, and Bodh Kharbu and also directed to provide electricity by any means to the Hamlet Pheeloong of Bodh Kharboo which is without Electricity till date.

He also directed the department to redress the dispute at Samrah and pace up the work of connecting the HT line as well as also directed to complete the work of Lying the electricity line from Shakar to Samundoo Yokma Kharboo, which is incomplete due to lack of funds, as soon as possible.

Earlier Haji Anayat Ali had an extensive tour of Shakar Chiktan Sub Division along with all district Officers, during which he has visited villages Charaks, Khangral, Chiktan, Mundik, Bodh Kharbu, Hinaskot, Samrah, Kukshow, Pachari, Dargo, Sanjak, Hagnis, Shakar and Lamsoo Sandoo and other adjoining villages and had public meeting at these places.

During his meeting with the villagers, he gave a patient hearing to their grievances and demands and assured them to resolve these demands on a priority basis.

He assured that the Head work of the Phosa Thang Canal damaged due to Flash floods will be completed by March next year and for which funds will be provided by him as well as directed the concerned officer to prepare the DPR for constructing motorable bridge for Phosathang village.

He also sanctioned funds from his CDF for equipping the Primary Health Center with Panel Heating System for heating purpose during winters as well for constructing a Bathroom. He sanctioned a 4x4 Gypsy Ambulance for the Chiktan Hospital next year for carrying the patients from Chiktan to Kargil during winters.
