A total of 13 reports were received on April 4, out of which 12 samples are reported negative of COVID-19 and one report is repeated positive result of a patient admitted in the initial period. The 12 sample reports are of Leh district and 1 sample is of Kargil.

With this, there are now four positive cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh; two positive cases in Leh and two in Kargil district. The condition of all the 4 positive cases is stable.  

Rigzin Samphel, Commissioner/Secretary Health & Medical Education UT Ladakh visited PHC Khaltse and Achinathang containment areas on April 3 and inspected the preparedness of COVID-19 and also interacted with the PRIs, locals and family of one Iran returnee.
