Forest Minister takes stock of the plantation sites in Leh

Forest plantation sites in and around Leh town was visited by Chowdhary Lal Singh, Minister for Forest, J&K Government on August 21.
 
The Minister also visited border area of Nubra-Turtuk inspected check posts of Forest and interacted with the people.

For the demands and grievances of people living in the border areas, he assured to address all the issues and problems under his capacity in the shortest possible time and to take-up other major demands with State Govt. 

He appealed people to go for maximum plantation in their area and extended every possible support from the Forest department.

The minister was accompanied by Ravi Kaser, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Suresh Gupta, Managing Director, SFC, B.M Sharma, Director and senior officers of Forest Department.
