First batch of 57 Iran returnees reach Kargil CEC, DC extend warm welcome

Kargil :

The first batch of Iran returnees after completing their quarantine period at Ghaziabad reached Kargil on April 21. 

This batch of 57 Iran returned pilgrims reached Kargil Airport through a special aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and was later taken to the quarantine facility at Hotel Highland at Titichumik Kargil.

Feroz Ahmad Khan, CEC, Kargil along with Baseer ul Haq Choudhary, DC, Kargil and Dr Vinod Kumar, SSP Kargil, Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Chief Medical Officer along with other concerned officers welcome them on their arrival back home. 

CEC and DC Kargil while inquiring from the pilgrims about their well being urged them to complete the 14 days mandatory quarantine period in the quarantine facility at Hotel Highland at Titichumik Kargil.
  
CEC and DC assured that all Iran returned pilgrims would be extended all necessary facilities and medical attention during their entire stay at the quarantine facility.

Meanwhile, CEC Kargil expressed gratitude to the Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Lieutenant Governor Ladakh, Member Parliament, Ladakh, IAF, Army and other agencies and individuals for facilitating the return of the pilgrims to Kargil.

CEC and DC Kargil further said that the administration is in constant touch with the concerned authorities to ensure the return of left out pilgrims from Iran as well as the Iran returnees from Jodhpur and Jaisalmer to Kargil at the earliest possible.
