First batch of 21 officials completes ICT training

Leh :

The first batch of the officials of UT Ladakh completed ICT Training for the middle and junior level officials on September 25 in Leh.

The training was conducted by the IT Department Ladakh in collaboration with the NIELIT Leh.
 
The training was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor, Radha Krishna Mathur on 21 September. A total of 21 participants across different departments of UT Ladakh participated in the first batch. The training was imparted by Mudasir Satar (NIELIT – Srinagar).

Training on Information and Communications Technology and the modules such as using GUI Operating System tools, Microsoft Office suite, Social Media Applications, Google Suite, File Management System, Internet applications, and various other open-source applications were imparted.
 
Chief Guest on the occasion, Ravinder Kumar, Administrative Secretary, UT Ladakh emphasized the importance of being digitally literate in this digital era. He said that all the office work and file processing that is being done manually will soon be replaced digitally through e-office.

In the end, certificates were distributed to all the participants.
 
The 2nd batch of the ICT Training will be conducted at NIELIT, Leh from September 28 till October 3.
