Fire and Fury Corps organises a medical camp in Leh

Fire and Fury Corps in collaboration with ‘Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Seva Samiti, a Jaipur-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) organised a medical camp in Leh on October 25.

The camp was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Radha Krishna Mathur and Lieutenant General PGK Menon, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps.

Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Seva Samity NGO is headed by Padma Bhushan awardee, D R Mehta, Chief patron who provided their valuable services in the distribution of mobility aids for the betterment of differently-abled persons.                 

Over 500 medical equipment like hearing aids, crutches, wheelchairs, and self-employment tools like sewing machines were distributed to the differently-abled persons along with medical checkups of people followed by distribution of medicines.

People of Leh expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Army and the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) for the benevolent action.
