Head Lama of Marpaling Stongday Gonpa, Zanskar donated ₹ 1, 12,150 to Red Cross Society, Zanskar on May 1.

The cheque was handed over to the Sonam Dorjay, SDM Zanskar.

Head Lama informed that the monks of the monastery have been performing special prayers for the past many days to ward off the spread of Coronavirus in the whole world. 
 
Meanwhile, Director Rainbow School, Zanskar also made a voluntary donation of Rs 52,000 in the account of Red Cross Society, Zanskar.
