To ensure smooth and fair distribution of fresh vegetables in Chushot block, EC's Phunchok Stanzin along with Mumtaz Hussain inspected Block Development Office Chushot where fresh vegetables were being provided to the ration card holders on February 6. 

The distribution was made through the Cooperative Department, Leh at Chushot block. Vegetables were being distributed through BDC Chairman Chushot Block Saira Bano under the supervision of Cooperative Department Leh.

EC Phunchok said that Hill Council, Leh is trying to provide fresh vegetables in all the 16 blocks of Leh district and fresh vegetables were sent to Nyoma and Durbuk blocks, and Skurbuchan block.

Phunchok said that Hill Council Leh is also trying to airlift vegetables in private airlines too in coming days and assured that every block will get fresh vegetables in phase manner.
