EC Education reviews Tharuk, Satoo Residential School status

EC Education, Konchok Stanzin reviewed the infrastructure and academic needs of Residential Higher Secondary School Tharuk-Tangtse and Residential High School Satoo-Kargyam on September 2 at Council Secretariat.

He took stock of the action taken reports of all the works assigned to different executing agencies by Hill Council, Leh in the previous biannual review meeting held in January 2020.

Transfer of lecturers and other teaching staff in both the Residential School, internet facilities, wooden flooring of remaining Class Room of Tharuk school, canalization of irrigation canal flowing through Tharuk school, construction of staff glass room, dedicated power line for Tharuk school from Tangtse for which ₹12.50 lakh is already stand sanctioned under District Plan, functional of Solar Power Plant (SPP) of Tharuk school and SPP of Satoo and Kargyam villages, etc were reviewed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Executive Engineers of PHE, I&FC, R&B Leh, DEPO, Leh, Project Director LREDA, Principal of Tharuk school, concerned engineers and officers.
