Dr. Yangchan Dolma, Coordinator of the IGNOU Learner Support Centre (LSC) 1203 at Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh, was conferred with the Best Coordinator Award by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Regional Centre Srinagar, on April 10.

The prestigious recognition was awarded in appreciation of her exemplary leadership, dedication, and outstanding contributions towards strengthening learner support services and promoting quality education during the year 2025.

The award was presented on the occasion of the 39th Convocation of IGNOU, held at the Regional Centre Srinagar on April 7, 2026. Dr. Yangchan Dolma’s commitment and tireless efforts have significantly enhanced the functioning of LSC 1203, particularly in ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and academic excellence in the remote region of Ladakh.

Her achievement marks a proud moment for the entire IGNOU fraternity in Ladakh and serves as an inspiration for educators and coordinators across the region.
