Dr. Nasreen Fatima Gynaecologist, Obstetrician, and her team performed an elective case of lower segment cesarean sections (LSCS) at Community Health Center Sankoo on January 23.

CHC Sankoo continues its service to health care since the Operation Theatre was made functional on July 1, 2022.

A team of doctors comprising Dr. Banazeer Khatoon, Consultant Anesthetist; Dr. Ahmad Ali, Consultant Orthopaedician; Dr. Anwar Hussain, Consultant Paediatrician, District Hospital Kargil, and OT Staff's Including, Mohd Ibrahim, Anesthesia Assistant; Mehmood Hussain, OT Assistant; Zaheer Abass, OT Assistant, Ghulam Mehdi, OT Assistant, and Nasreen Fatima Under Supervision of BMO Sankoo.

Dr. Nasreen said that two loops of cord around the neck and thick meconium as soon as the 3 kg baby girl was delivered and post-operative was uneventful.

Dr. Anwar Hussain Paediatrician Consultant checked the baby and declared it healthy. He also imparted knowledge about handling the newborn baby to staff nurses at CHC Sankoo.
