The ongoing Mimangs si Rjabstogs (Administration at Your Doorstep) campaign successfully concluded at Sumoor village for Tehsil Sumoor of the Nubra Sub Division on November 17, under the leadership of Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Chhostak.

The initiative aims to enhance public engagement and ensure effective and timely delivery of various welfare schemes to local residents. Around 20 departments actively participated in the camp, which witnessed a significant public turnout.

During the programme, officials from various departments conducted awareness sessions on government schemes, explaining benefits, eligibility criteria, and implementation procedures. Officers also interacted directly with residents, addressed grievances, and responded to queries to ensure improved service delivery.

The camp facilitated several on-the-spot services, including:

13 Resident Certificates
55 Revenue Extracts
10 Scheduled Tribe Certificates
1 new ST Certificate
6 Income Certificates
8 Electoral Roll-related services

Additional services included the creation of 14 ABHA IDs, 15 PM-JAY enrolments, NCD screenings, registrations under PM-KISAN and Kisan Credit Card, greenhouse beneficiary applications, PMMVY enrolments, APAAR ID creation, and other departmental services. Representatives from J&K Bank were also present to assist beneficiaries and extend essential financial services.

The camp concluded on a positive note, with residents expressing appreciation for the administration’s effort to ensure timely and accessible public services at their doorstep.
