DLSA Kargil celebrates International Yoga Day at district court complex

In line with the directives of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh and as per the action plan of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kargil celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21 at the District Court Complex, Kargil.
The event was held under the chairmanship of Spalzes Angmo, Chairman DLSA, and witnessed the presence of Wangial Tsering, Ld. CJM Kargil, and Chemit Yurgyal, Ld. Secretary DLSA Kargil.
DLSA panel lawyers, bar members, LADC staff, court staff, yoga instructors Mohd Hassan, Mukhtar Ahmad, Altaf Hussain, and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) participated enthusiastically in the celebration.
The event aimed to promote yoga as a global movement for health, peace, and harmony, while raising awareness about its holistic benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Yoga instructors highlighted yoga’s importance as an ancient Indian tradition that fosters strength, flexibility, and immunity. “Yoga is not just an exercise but a path to discovering oneness with ourselves, the world, and nature,” they emphasized.
