Officials from District Administration and Tourism Department, Leh inspected 16 hotels around Leh town on June 30.

The team of officials collected fines from the hotels which were found flouting the COVID-19 SOPs. A fine of Rs 2500 was collected from tourists for not wearing a mask.

The District Administration appeals hoteliers and the tourist to strictly follow the COVID-19 SOPs and COVID Appropriate Behaviour to contain the spread of the virus.
