The Dharti Aaba Abhiyan awareness and benefits saturation camps concluded successfully at Tirisha village on June 21, in the presence of Mohmad Hussain, Naib Tehsildar of Panamik, Tehsil Sumoor.

The camp saw active participation from various government departments and enthusiastic engagement from the local community. The initiative aimed to create awareness and empower rural residents by ensuring access to various welfare schemes and services.

Departments including Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, ICDS (CDPO Nubra), Forest, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Rural Development, and Social Welfare provided on-the-spot services, scheme awareness, and grievance redressal support.

Key highlights of the camp included the issuance of important documents such as residence, income certificates, and revenue extracts by the Revenue Department; free health checkups, hemoglobin tests, ABHA ID creation, and medicine distribution by the Health Department; distribution of vermi decomposer, Bio-NPK, seeds, tools, and creation of Kisan Credit Cards by the Agriculture Department; awareness on orchard development and SDP/MIDH schemes; livestock vaccination, animal care services, and manure awareness by the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Departments; awareness on sanitation, MGNREGA, and rural housing by the Rural Development Department; enrollment for old-age and widow pensions by the Social Welfare Department; and plantation awareness and sapling distribution by the Forest Department.
