Deputy Commissioner Sham visits Skindiyang village, reviews development issues
Deputy Commissioner Sham, Kunzes Angmo, visited Skindiyang village on June 18, accompanied by the Executive Engineer (Exen) and Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), PWD Khaltse, along with the Naib Tehsildar Khaltse.
During her visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with villagers at the Community Hall, Skindiyang. The residents highlighted several key issues, including poor mobile network connectivity, road infrastructure challenges, and the need for a separate room for the Women Alliance.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Middle School, Skindiyang, and the Anganwadi Centre, where she interacted with students and staff. She emphasized the importance of increasing enrolment in government schools through awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives.
She further visited the Medical Sub-Centre, Skindiyang, and inspected the ongoing construction works of the hospital building, medical staff quarters, and the meditation hall at Lama Guru. She reviewed the progress of the projects and directed the concerned departments to ensure their timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the villagers that their genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for appropriate action.
